The Municipal Executive of Andenne informs the public about an appeal filed with the Walloon Government on September 22, 2026. The appeal, lodged by Maître Nathalie Fortemps on behalf of the municipality of Ohey, Ms. Sabine Leduc, and the Municipality of Gesves, challenges the class 1 single permit granted on September 1, 2026, to SRL RENNER ENERGIES BELGIUM VX.

The single permit is for the construction and operation of 4 wind turbines with a maximum capacity of 24 MW, to be located in Gesves (3 turbines) and Ohey (1 turbine). The affected land parcels are registered in Gesves under division 1, section D, numbers 18C, 52E, 89C, 100B, 99F, 3B, and in Ohey under division 1, section E, number 136B.
The appeal suspends the contested decision as it was filed by both municipalities involved in the project.
This notice will be displayed from October 13 to November 2, 2026. The appeal file can be consulted at the Environment Department, located at Place du Chapitre, 7, in 5300 Andenne, on each working day during service hours. Consultations are available without an appointment on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, and by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, Saturday mornings, and one evening per week until 8 PM.
