The municipality aims to beautify these resting places, promote biodiversity, and reduce herbicide use through floral arrangements and late mowing.

The City of Beauraing is pursuing the controlled greening of its cemeteries, with multiple objectives including beautification, contributing to biodiversity, and eliminating harmful herbicides.

Throughout the year, certain areas may undergo late mowing, allowing nature to reclaim its space and encouraging the blooming of wildflowers such as daisies, bellflowers, and thyme.
Numerous projects are underway: in Feschaux, plantings are being made between graves (thyme, sedum, carnations, campanulas, periwinkles), and the landscaping of paths and an ossuary is in progress. In Winenne, the ossuary is also being developed, while that of Baronville has been flowered.
Finally, trees and a bench will be installed in Winenne, Vonêche, and Felenne, allowing everyone to enjoy these spaces in peace.
If you visit the graves for All Saints' Day, we thank you for respecting the flowered areas and using the recycling bins appropriately.
