The Province of Namur has launched its new Provincial Awards, which will recognize four exemplary initiatives in the fields of culture, better living, education, and territory.

The new Provincial Awards have been launched, offering four distinctions to highlight exemplary initiatives in key areas of provincial life. These awards aim to recognize actions that facilitate access to culture, improve quality of life, innovate in education, or contribute to the development of the territory.
Each laureate will receive a prize of €5,000, intended to support or develop their initiative, along with a trophy designed by students from Emap, the Province's School of Trades and Arts. This creation aims to give a strong identity to this first edition and showcase local talents.
The competition is free and open to any adult resident in the province of Namur, as well as any structure active in the region. It is possible to submit multiple applications, including for different categories, provided they meet the established criteria.
The call for applications is now open. The participation form will be available on the dedicated website upon its imminent launch. The deadline for submitting applications is set for November 30th at 12 PM. Eligible applications will be assessed by a jury, and the public will be invited to vote for their preferred initiatives, with the final result based equally on both assessments.
These awards aim to highlight driving projects, innovative approaches, and exemplary commitments that transform the territory and inspire. The Province of Namur intends to showcase its talents through this initiative.
