To enhance flood prevention within its territory, a field visit was conducted in several identified priority sectors in Jemeppe-s-Sambre.

The Alderman for the Environment, Céline Moureaux, along with the Commune's Environment department, toured these zones with experts from GISER and the Sambre & Affluents River Contract (CRSA).
The objective of this joint inspection was to precisely analyze the path of runoff water, identify blockages, and understand the specific congestion mechanisms in each neighborhood.
The data and observations gathered will directly contribute to an expertise report from GISER. This document will enable the Commune and its services to set development priorities and implement suitable, long-term protection measures.
