The municipality of Ohey invites the public to the official inauguration of the new developments in Evelette on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This event will mark an important step in the village's development.
These projects, supported by Wallonia and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, aim to enhance local attractiveness, conviviality, and quality of life. The initiatives include the development of a raised plateau on Rue des Sorbiers, the extension of the Youth Center, the creation of two emergency staircases at the primary school, the extension and renovation of the Salle Isbanette and the Macrâles corner, as well as the creation of the Conviviality Space and a pedestrian path.
The ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM at the Salle Isbanette with official speeches from representatives of the supporting authorities. This will be followed by a friendly reception with a local musical group, fostering a festive atmosphere.
“"Because these developments are yours above all, we hope to see many of you there to celebrate together this beautiful evolution of the village of Evelette and to share a moment of conviviality among neighbors, residents, partners, and authorities."
The registration deadline is set for September 30 at 12:00 PM. For more information, please contact Ms. Ruth Oosterhof at 085.82.44.73 or via email at ruth.oosterhof@ohey.be.
