From October 6 to 16, 2026, the Digital Week will take place throughout Wallonia and Brussels. The City of Andenne is joining this edition by offering a series of events aimed at raising awareness, informing, and discussing the uses and challenges of digital technology. The program includes cybersecurity, citizen support, and reflection on the creation of a digital public space, primarily at Le Phare and the Digital Public Space (EPN).
On Friday, October 9, at 6 PM, Le Phare will host a reflection aperitif on the potential creation of a digital public space within the Library. This participatory exchange, open to residents, partners, and digital stakeholders, aims to gather expectations and ideas to inform discussions on citizen needs and potential services.
At 7 PM, the evening will continue with a public conference on cybersecurity, led by Christophe Axen from 2AXN — Personalised Service. It will cover online fraud, phishing, data protection, and best practices for identifying risks and adopting appropriate reflexes in an increasingly digital daily life.
In addition, the Digital Public Space of Seilles will offer practical cybersecurity workshops to allow participants to apply the advice given and strengthen their daily digital security. Contact: EPN de Seilles – yahya.benhaddoueac.andenne.be.
Concurrently, an internal component is planned for the staff of the City and the CPAS. Throughout October, the Digital Development service will organize training sessions on artificial intelligence to explore the possibilities and uses of these new tools in a professional context.
