The AVIQ, with the support of Wallonia, is launching a creative communication campaign focused on preventing winter respiratory illnesses such as influenza, COVID-19, and RSV.

Every autumn and winter, increased circulation of viruses like influenza, COVID-19, and the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can lead to outbreaks, particularly exposing vulnerable individuals to complications. To counter this risk, AVIQ is deploying an innovative campaign aimed at making protective actions a daily reflex for everyone's health.
Five simple actions are highlighted: washing hands, ventilating indoor spaces, coughing into one's arm, limiting contact when sick, and getting vaccinated. Wearing a mask is also recommended as a complementary protective measure in certain situations, especially when experiencing symptoms, in crowded places, or when in contact with vulnerable individuals.
These protective reflexes benefit not only the individual but also their loved ones, and help reduce virus transmission in living, working, care, and healthcare settings.
The full campaign and all advice are available on the dedicated website.
