Due to reduced Walloon funding, the Explor'acteurs municipal school in Perwez is innovating by organizing its own cycling proficiency training.

During the municipal council meeting on September 28, the continuation of the collaboration in 2026-27 with the non-profit organization Pro Velo was decided. However, following a reduction in Walloon intervention, only certain schools can benefit from the cycling proficiency training via Pro Velo.
The municipal school of Perwez, the Explor'acteurs, has therefore decided to try an autonomous approach. It will organize its own supervision, with increased involvement from the Communal Youth Aid Service (SCAJ), the sports center, and volunteers.
Whether through the pilot project of the Explor'acteurs or external organization with Pro Velo, the importance of cycling proficiency is universally recognized. It contributes to road safety and children's autonomy in their travels.
