The Municipality of Chastre is launching a call for projects for the construction and operation of a new sports hub focused on padel and pickleball.

The municipality of Chastre aims to diversify its sports offerings and attract a private operator to develop a modern facility. The call for projects concerns the creation of four courts dedicated to padel and/or pickleball, located near the existing football club.
The concession, for a duration of 40 years, includes no communal fees. This framework is designed to allow interested investors to realize an ambitious project and envision a long-term operational model. The project can incorporate complementary facilities such as changing rooms, a cafeteria, and horeca activities, to create a convivial space.
The site also offers future expansion possibilities, allowing for the consideration of new racket sport courts or the development of other sports disciplines. Its proximity to the existing football club is considered a significant asset for integrating this new sports offering.
By entrusting the construction and operation to a private operator, Chastre intends to leverage specialized expertise and focus on developing its sports offerings. Investors and operators active in sports infrastructure are invited to submit a project by February 26, 2027.
A concession notice has been published on the federal eProcurement platform. For further information, interested parties can contact the Municipality of Chastre via email at info@chastre.be or by phone at 010/65.44.70.
