The Municipality of Sambreville invites its residents to participate in the 2026 Pedestrian Barometer, a national survey on walking, until October 31st.

Until October 31, 2026, the residents of Sambreville are called upon to contribute to the Pedestrian Barometer, a major national survey dedicated to walking and the quality of public spaces. This initiative aims to gather citizens' experiences regarding sidewalks, crossings, and the accessibility of pathways.
Following a first edition in 2023 that gathered over 13,500 participants, this new edition aims to measure the evolution of the situation, better understand pedestrians' needs, and identify necessary improvements. The goal for Sambreville is to collect at least 50 responses to obtain a detailed local report, useful for the Communal Mobility Plan focused on developing quality pedestrian and PRM infrastructure.
The online questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is available in French, Dutch, and German. Responses are anonymous and processed in accordance with GDPR. A prize draw is also organized among participants. Overall results will be published in early 2027.
