Addressing the pollution problem caused by cigarette butts discarded on the ground, the municipality of Profondeville, with the support of Be WaPP, is making portable ashtrays available to smokers. The goal is to encourage a simple and responsible action: keeping cigarette butts until the next bin.
These ashtrays are available free of charge at the secretariat of the Department Cadre de Vie of the Communal Administration of Profondeville, located at the former BNP bank, rue Colonel Bourg 1. Each smoker can obtain one, while stocks last.
The municipality thanks Be WaPP for its support in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in preserving the cleanliness of streets, paths, and natural spaces. "A clean municipality is everyone's business!" the administration reminds.
