On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Municipality of La Bruyère organized a ceremony to honor 10 couples celebrating their golden, diamond, brilliant, and platinum anniversaries.

The second annual gathering dedicated to wedding anniversaries brought together families, relatives, and municipal elected officials to celebrate these remarkable unions. Each couple received congratulations from the mayor and elected officials. Emotional speeches, read by Mrs. Baudoin, punctuated the ceremony, accompanied by music.
The jubilarians were presented with a Royal diploma, a copy of their original marriage certificate, a bouquet of flowers, and a gift basket. Couples celebrating their 60th and 65th wedding anniversaries received the royal medal, while those celebrating their 70th year of union were gifted a framed photograph of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
These symbolic gestures aim to acknowledge exceptional life journeys, rich in commitment, fidelity, and shared memories. Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a toast and refreshments in the communal reception hall, extending the celebration in a warm atmosphere.
The municipality congratulates the 10 couples for their history and contribution to the richness of the commune.
