The Communal College of Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, in partnership with the Digital Agency (AdN), is launching a citizen survey to map areas with poor mobile coverage within its territory.

Despite general progress in network coverage across Wallonia, certain areas of the commune, particularly in hilly or hollowed-out sectors, still experience frequent disruptions, outages, or dead zones. To ensure equitable coverage and defend citizens' interests with telecom operators, public participation is crucial.
This initiative, part of the Digital Wallonia strategy, aims to collect data directly from residents. The gathered information will be used to create a precise map of malfunctions and no-signal zones in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre. This data will then inform the diagnosis shared with telecom operators by the Digital Agency, with the goal of demanding targeted interventions and improvements.
The questionnaire, designed to be completed in just a few minutes, is available online. The commune strongly encourages residents to participate and share the initiative with their neighbors and friends. The more numerous and precise the reports, the greater the weight of demands on operators to achieve concrete and suitable solutions.
