The Mandala unit at CHU UCL Namur, located in Dinant, offers multidisciplinary support for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 facing difficulties with learning, language, motor skills, or psycho-affective development.

Every child develops at their own pace, but when difficulties persist and impact their development, learning, or daily life, tailored support can make a significant difference. This is the mission of Mandala, the pediatric and family functional rehabilitation unit of the CHU UCL Namur, situated at the Sainte-Anne site in Dinant.
This outpatient unit brings together a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapy, speech therapy, relational psychomotor therapy, psychology, and neuropsychology. This complementarity allows for cross-disciplinary perspectives to build support tailored to each child's needs, considering their individuality and overall well-being.
The team specifically assists children and adolescents with learning and instrumental disorders (language difficulties, dyslexia, dysorthography, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, attention deficits, memory issues), motor and psychomotor difficulties (developmental delays, coordination problems, walking delays, infant motor development issues, or respiratory problems), and psycho-affective challenges.
Care is developed in close collaboration with families and the various professionals involved with the child. Exchanges with schools and PMS (Psycho-Medical-Social) centers are organized when necessary to coordinate information and rehabilitation efforts, and to consider appropriate school accommodations.
For any new questions or requests, Mandala can be contacted via email at mandala@chuuclnamur.uclouvain.be, specifying the reason for the request and the desired support. A telephone helpline for new requests is also available at 082 21 23 10 during business hours from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Health professionals, teachers, or PMS center members can also contact the team to refer a child.
