The 2026 Sports Merit ceremony took place on Friday, October 2, at the Cultural Center of Beauraing, in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
Each laureate was chosen through a vote combining the RCA's board of directors and the alderman for sports, Beauraing clubs, local sports personalities, a press representative, and citizens.
Several recipients were honored: Les Panards Winennois, a walking club, for its long-standing activity; the volleyball club for the dedication of its young players; Anne Lamotte, for her boundless commitment as a volunteer within the volleyball club.
The TRI-B, Beauraing's triathlon club, was awarded the main Sports Merit prize.
The municipality warmly congratulates all laureates for their involvement, highlighting the significant place of sports in Beauraing.
