The minutes from the latest Communal Council meeting in Vaux-sur-Sûre, held on October 27, 2026, are now available. The deliberations covered several key areas for the municipality.
In the BUDGET - FINANCE – SUBSIDIES – PUBLIC PROCUREMENT sector, decisions were made regarding extraordinary and ordinary subsidies for football clubs for the 2026-2027 season. Approval was also given for the lots and specific clauses for the sale of firewood to individuals, scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026.
Regarding ENERGY, the council approved the use of the Idelux Projets Publics purchasing center for the supply and installation of smart meters (electricity, gas, water, and heating oil).
Concerning PERSONNEL, recruitment conditions were set for hiring a Third Place Project Manager (scale B1), along with the establishment of a recruitment reserve.
The ENVIRONMENT - AGRICULTURE - FORESTS section saw the designation of communal sanctioning officers for administrative sanctions. For POLICE, a budget modification n°2026/02 was approved, granting a mandate to Mr. the Mayor.
Finally, in terms of TAXES, the cost recovery rate for household waste for the 2027 financial year was discussed, as well as a communal tax regulation on wind turbines for industrial electricity production for the same year.
