In response to the spread of the Asian hornet, the Municipality of Tintigny has decided to expand its control program. Effective immediately, the destruction of nests belonging to this invasive species will be fully covered by the municipality. This measure applies to nests located on public land as well as those on private properties.
To report a nest, residents are asked to send an email to the Municipality, attaching one or more photos of the nest and its precise location (address or exact spot). The municipality will then arrange for the intervention.
It is important to note that only Asian hornet nests are covered by this program. The municipality urges everyone to cooperate in limiting the spread of this invasive species and protecting local biodiversity.
