SWDE teams are currently working on the water distribution network to supply a new area in Longvilly. This construction site, which may extend over several days, is likely to cause water outages of varying duration and pressure drops.
SWDE is aware of the inconveniences and is doing its utmost to minimize the impact on drinking water supply and traffic around the site. In case of scheduled water outages, affected residents will be notified at least three days in advance.
Following the work, you may notice temporary phenomena when opening your tap, such as momentary pressure drops, brownish or red water, or milky-looking water due to air bubbles. These phenomena do not affect water quality.
It should be noted that other companies may take advantage of these road or sidewalk openings to install their own underground infrastructure (fiber optics, gas, sewage, etc.). Construction timelines may therefore vary depending on each party's imperatives, which SWDE cannot control. The completion date may also be postponed due to unforeseen difficulties or weather conditions.
