The Perimeter Walk, an annual commemorative hike of the Battle of the Ardennes, will take place in December 2026. This event annually draws several thousand Belgian and foreign civilians and military personnel, including many Americans with their families, who come to pay tribute to the soldiers who liberated Bastogne.
Animated by numerous reenactors in period costumes, this walk aims to perpetuate the duty of remembrance and respect for the liberators. Three routes are offered to participants: 7 km, 14 km, and 21 km.
