The confraternity of the Sossons d’Orvaulx invites the public to a day dedicated to the famous 'Plate' potato from Florenville, which will be showcased on the new Place Albert Iᵉʳ. The event promises a moment of sharing centered around local produce and conviviality.
The program includes an artisan market offering direct sales of potatoes from producer to consumer. Visitors can also taste local specialties such as white and black puddings, cheeses from Orval and goat cheese, pâtés gaumais, and more. The Trappist confraternities of Rochefort and Chimay will be honored guests.
The hotel school of Bouillon will offer a tasting of verrines made with the famous 'Plate' potato. For enthusiasts of vintage mechanics, an exhibition and rides on old tractors are planned. The food stalls will feature the essential touffaye and floriflette.
Musical entertainment, bouncy castles, and a 100 m² wooden games stand will delight both children and adults.
