In the presence of parents, school principals, the Mayor Emmanuel Burton, and Anne-Michèle Pierard, the first Alderman in charge of Youth, the new young councilors took their oath. Eager to address issues close to their hearts and to invest themselves in their municipality's life, they will develop dynamic projects.
These young councilors come from the municipal schools of Marbais, Tilly, Villers-la-Ville, and the private school Saint-Nicolas de Sart-Dames-Avelines. A symbolic sash was presented to them as proof of their commitment.
The afternoon concluded with the traditional toast to friendship. The municipality thanked all the Councilors for their involvement.
