On Thursday, October 15, 2026, students from the communal schools of Perbais visited an exhibition at the Forge, allowing them to discover their village's past through various collections.

As part of their philosophy and citizenship, moral, and Islamic religion classes, the children explored an exhibition showcasing varied collections: stamps, PEZ candies, old games, cycling race souvenirs, bat-themed items, and letters from famous figures. Period documents and photographs also illustrated the history of Perbais, its local tramway, and the regional sugar industry.
This visit offered the young investigators a new perspective on their village and its heritage. Equipped with their visitor's booklet, they carefully observed the display cases and searched for details among the exhibited objects. Several collectors were present to share their passion and present their treasures, providing the students with an opportunity to exchange and discover new interests.
The exhibition, which continues throughout this weekend, is an invitation for families to discover or rediscover local heritage.
