Basile Routier, a resident of Braine-l'Alleud, has launched Rekolt (rekolt.be), a free platform to find farms in Brabant Wallon offering direct sales of their products.

The Rekolt website (rekolt.be) aims to facilitate consumer access to local farms in Brabant Wallon. It provides information on available products, opening hours, and producer addresses, simplifying direct purchasing and promoting local produce.
Each farm has a dedicated page on rekolt.be, updated by the producer via their phone. Information includes products offered, hours, address, and points of sale. The map can be viewed without an account.
Rekolt also contributes to reducing food waste. When a farm reports surplus production or downgraded products (e.g., oversized or misshapen vegetables), subscribed residents in that commune receive an email notification to purchase them directly on-site.
The project is entirely free for both producers and residents, with no commission on sales. It is funded by its founder, Basile Routier, and plans to introduce an optional support subscription in the future to cover costs.
Producers are invited to register in minutes on rekolt.be without any commitment or exclusivity. Residents of Braine-l'Alleud are encouraged to subscribe to their commune for surplus notifications and to spread the word about the project.
