Heritage is not just about remarkable monuments; it also lies in the daily details of rural buildings, such as a facade, a gateway, or a street. The Gaume Nature Park invites artists, both amateurs and professionals, to share their vision of Gaume's rural heritage through an exhibition.
The exhibition, hosted at the Musée Gaumais from November 13, 2026, to January 03, 2027, will highlight the perspective of those who experience Gaume daily. Photographic reproductions of the artworks will later be displayed in several municipalities during a traveling exhibition.
Artists are encouraged to unleash their creativity to illuminate the unique built heritage of Gaume. Applications, which must include a photograph of the artwork, the author's name, title, technique, dimensions, creation date, and a brief presentation text, should be sent to r.dubois@pndg.be.
The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2026, with a maximum of three artworks per person. For photographic works to be printed by the organizers, files must be submitted in sufficient quality for printing (minimum 300 dpi), along with the desired print dimensions.
Artworks are not insured and will be returned after the exhibition at the museum. Only photographic reproductions will be part of the traveling exhibition. A joint selection by the PNDG and the MG will ensure the diversity of mediums, geographical areas, and types of heritage represented.
