The Communal Council of Aubange will convene on Monday, October 12, 2026. The agenda includes several important items, such as the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting and budget modifications for the Sud-Luxembourg Police Zone.
In terms of finances, the council will vote on ordinary and extraordinary budget modifications n°2 for the City of AUBANGE. The 2027 budgets for the Church Fabric Boards of AUBANGE and ATHUS, along with their respective communal contributions, will also be submitted for approval. A modification to the fee regulation for population/civil status/passport/permit and foreigner services is also on the agenda, including the sale of blue discs, "L" plates (licence), and ID card readers. The council will also review the tax regulation on battery sites for industrial electricity storage for the years 2027 to 2031, and the granting of a €100 subsidy to the Memory of Victory ASBL for the exhibition opening of « Memory of Victory ».
Regarding public tenders, decisions will be made concerning the supply and/or installation of original parts for Renault vehicles (estimated amount excluding VAT: €60,000.00) and for small machinery in the mechanical workshop (estimated amount excluding VAT: €80,000.00), for the years 2027 to 2030.
In the heritage section, the council will approve draft deeds for the sale of communal plots located behind residences on Rue des Buissons in HALANZY, for amounts of €5,735.00, €5,735.00, and €4,580.00 respectively.
For mobility, a decision will be made regarding a complementary regulation on road traffic police concerning the creation of a public parking space for disabled persons, located at Avenue des Chasseurs ardennais n° 24 in ATHUS.
Communal administrative sanctions will be addressed with the designation of three sanctioning officers and one substitute officer within the Province, responsible for imposing administrative fines. A single agreement for the provision of provincial sanctioning officers and modifications to flat-rate tariffs for each case processed by the Province will also be discussed.
In the field of education, the coverage of the communal budget for transitional hours for a nursery school teacher at the communal school of AUBANGE for the period from October 1, 2026, to January 18, 2027, will be examined.
Regarding personnel, the recruitment conditions for a building technician and two territorial development project managers (levels B1 and A1) for the City of AUBANGE will be set, with the establishment of recruitment reserves.
Finally, a communication on the cash situation for Q3 2026 is scheduled.
